Processes and Equipment
Separation processes are used to recover precious metals, base metals or non-metallic minerals from ore particles liberated to suitable size.
HZE offer the following separation solutions:
Magnetic separation - Magnetic separation - usually recovering magnetic minerals by magnetic separators with different magnetic induction strength.
Gravity concentration - Used in the condition of large specific gravity difference between minerals and gangue. Common equipment: centrifugal concentrator, spiral concentrator, jig, shaker, sluice box, heavy medium cyclone and so on.
Flotation separation - Mainly used to recover sulfides or minerals associated with sulfides. Common equipment: flotation cell, flotation column, slurry conditioner tank, reagent preparation and dosing system, etc.
Leaching - feeding alkaline or acidic leaching solution into the ore to extract valuable metal minerals and entering the solution. The common leaching processes are heap leach, vat leach and tank leach. Common equipment: leaching tank, carbon adsorption column, reagent preparation and dosing system, etc.
In one mineral processing, a single separation process may be used, or different separation processes may be combined to recover valuable minerals. The kinds of mineral concentrate may be only one or several , which is determined by the mineral composition of the raw ore.
